New Shoes

We got 2 care packages this week. One from my grand parents and one from Dew Daddy and Nai Nai. In the package Nai Nai sent both kids got a new pair of shoes. Elijah got sandals. He has been cruising in his since we put them on and Ev got a pair of flip flops and a pair of shoes.

It came at a good time because Ev told me last week that her shoes were too small. She now wears a size 8. Her feet are LONG! Elijah is wearing a size 4 but it looks like he won't be in them very long. His toes are all the way to the edge. The kids definitely got their daddy's feet. Hopefully the rest of Ev's body will catch up to her feet. She is a few months shy of turning 3 years old but is just now starting to fit in size 2 T pants.

Lately Ev is into Minnie Mouse so she got a pair of Minnie Mouse flip flops that light up. She hates flip flops. So we were hoping that she may wear these because of Minnie. At first I got one on her before she knew what it was. She cried and cried until I took it off. Todd tried later to put them on and had the same response. Later in the day she put them on herself and likes them now.
