We decided we needed some time in America so we came back to spend some time with our families and our church. The kids thought we were going to Thailand and amazingly had no idea after a day of travel that we had landed in America. First stop was Kansas. We spent time with my mom and grandpa. Todd and Elijah got to go to a Royals game, we also went to Ikea, the American Girl Store, the kids got to go swimming, we went to Deanna Rose Farmstead and enjoyed our family.
The kids got to build bird houses with DewDaddy and Nai Nai, we got water balloons and played baseball with them, the girls got to go with Aunt Kara to pick out clothes for cousin Tariku, we went to splashpads and the swimming pool, we hung out with friends who also live in the same city as us overseas and we went shopping for new baseball gloves. It was a good month for our family to be around friends and family.
