Ian loves riding in the car and he loves the playground so that is what we did. We picked daddy up and went to Sonic for lunch and since it was so warm we ate outside too. We celebrated with more cupcakes and sang Happy Birthday to Ian. He is really catching on to the song, he danced to it and sang the words he knew along with us. We did some playing outside and had some more birthday cupcakes. The new words for the week are birthday, cupcake and that one! He did have a fall at the playground and scratched up his face so most of the pictures of his real birthday since we have been celebrating early his face is all red.

It's Birthday Time!
We are starting to celebrate our Spring birthdays. On April 28th Ian will turn 2 years old and then on May 17th Elijah will turn 3. We will start by celebrating with my family this weekend in Kansas. We are celebrating Ian's birthday with a pizza and our theme is Thomas the train as our little guy has been fascinated with them and loves to make the "choo choo" sound. I found wooden trains for the kids to paint, I made Thomas and friends birthday hats, cupcakes with railroad tracks and a few of Thomas and we got Ian a Play and Take fold up train set.
We will then celebrate the following weekend in Tulsa with family again. We are really excited for our families to be with us to celebrate his birthday and that this is our first time to be with him on his birthday. We are hoping that he won't be too overwhelmed with everything. I know for sure he will enjoy the chocolate cupcakes. This morning as the kids were helping me make them they all got to lick the spoon and bowls out. Ian danced for joy after the first lick of chocolate cake batter. Hao Chi! Pictures to come.... :)
