We got our LOA package on Friday afternoon. We signed the important paper and sent a bunch back to America to 2 different places. We waited until our Friday evening to call our adoption agency because my name was misspelled on a document. We were worried we would have to correct it first and that would cause more delay. But I guess the document isn't that official :) because they let us send it the way it was.
We skyped with our contact and found out more of the story behind our LOA package. I am thankful that our contact kept on Fed Ex trying to do what he could for the past 3 days to help us. But he had told us that in the last year they have sent over 300 packages to this country via Fed Ex and have had no problems. He asked them why they didn't tell him at the beginning of sending off our package that they couldn't deliver it to us. He went round and round with them because they had to look up the city and make sure they could send it. What they FORGOT to tell him was that they really couldn't deliver it like they said, they didn't mention they would have to hire a 3rd party to get it to us.
We also were able to see that our package arrive in Beijing in 2 days but it sat in Beijing for a whole week! Needless to say, when they have to send us our last package they will send it to their staff within the country and have them mail it to us.
