The kids are thrilled to have the new bunk bed. I showed Ev how to climb up and down the ladder and Elijah heard me tell her it is like when she is climbing on the play ground. He wishes he could climb on the playground aka the bunk bed. Right now he is still in the crib and Ev is on the bottom bunk. Once we get our new little guy Ev will go to the top and Elijah will go to the bottom bunk and our new son will go in the crib. They usually enjoy talking to each other every night before falling asleep but the past couple of days they have been a lot louder and more excited because of the bunk beds.
It's hard to get a good picture of the room so here are a few to get the idea. Ev's twin bed is a twin futon bed. Since we are using the crib still her twin futon is now functioning as a couch.
