Day 3 - Adoption Day

Last night we Skyped with Ev and Elijah so they could see Ian and this morning we briefly Skyped with some of our family so they could see him too.

We haven't taken a lot of pictures today we feel like we've been in taxis all morning.
After breakfast we met at the registration office. There our adoption was made official, Ian is really a Lambert now! From there we spent half of an hour in a taxi going to the notary office once there we answered a few questions and we were done there then back in the taxi again to go home.

Our taxi rides today showed us some new sides of Ian. Because he was spoiled we have quickly realized that no one told him no. So in the taxi we were telling no for the first time which was hard for him. Yesterday at dinner I had showed him how to sign "more" and he quickly picked up on it and used it today in the taxi when he wanted his baseball back that we would take away when he would try to bite it.
We also got him to laugh again today but this time it was from tickling his tummy. Yesterday Todd tried to tickle him but he sat their and stared at him. Today Todd laughed when he tickled him and Ian picked up on laughing back.
So far the only time he cried was when we put him down for his nap but he usually doesn't cry for long.

Since we are done with paperwork we are heading home this evening. Once the boys wake up from their naps we will go to IKEA and get some dinner and go to the airport.
I'm ready to see Ev and Elijah and for them to meet Ian!

Today I learned:
Ian is an active sleeper. He is constantly moving changing positions and
eventually he finds his middle and ring finger of his left hand and sucks them.
He likes pancakes and the meat from an hamburger
When he was laughing I got a glimpse of his teeth. He has 4 teeth on top, with one
of his molars coming in to make 5, and 4 on bottom.
