I-800 A Form!

On Sunday we were told that our I800 A form was approved. We were really excited to get the approval in about a month, usually it takes 2-3 months to get processed. I guess it helped that we sent in our fingerprint cards.

We have looked at the timeline we have had so far and we have had a few delays here and there. We are hoping that the next steps will go smoothly and quickly like this one did.

What is left:

We need our dossier to be sent in which is almost ready. (a week or so to get finished and sent to TN)

It will have to get authenticated and certified (3-4 weeks).

Then it will be sent back to BJ(2-3 weeks).

There it will be registered, we will get a log in date, processed, and translated among other things(about a month and half maybe).

Then hopefully we will get a letter of approval (1 week)

We move onto Immigration, consulate, and travel approvals (about 5 weeks).

*Maybe we can fly to get our child and bring our child back here to our home and then go back to have the consulate appointments.*

Then we have the scheduled consulate appointments and departure times(more time).

We are hoping that in the next months that there will not be a surplus of dossiers and so on so we won't get pushed back longer. We are also asking that our paperwork won't be interrupted by C holidays.
