4th of July Fun

We had a little celebration for the 4th of July one day early. We got together with the families from our Friday morning play group. It was fun having the dads involved and they got to see the kids show off their flags they had made and march around to parade music. I am sure the kids had no idea why we were celebrating America but that will come in a few years when we can explain America's history to them. The longer we live overseas the more we appreciate America's freedom.

We celebrated with hamburgers, chips, watermelon, veggies trail mix, popsicle smoothies and a cake. Not too bad for here. :)

The 4th of July also marks our 3rd anniversary of living here.

Happy 4th of July!
